Cultivating ideas from the initial meeting, the process begins with a CAD layout of the floor plan while highlighting important goals from the client. General design concepts and plans begin to take shape as moodboarding and preliminary product sourcing commences. Conceptual elevations—like built-ins and hard finishes—are plotted out and layers of detail are compiled from the information derived during the intel meeting. Sourcing is one of the most layered parts of the design process, bringing together furniture, lighting, textiles, wallcoverings, finishes and decorative elements to create a cohesive and highly personal interior.
